Adult ADHD Assessments
I'm trained to diagnose adults with ADHD by using psychometric assessments: including the Conners rating scale and the WAIS-IV scale. I will also require a clinical interview before I complete the diagnostic report. Please contact me today to book a free consultation to go over the process and see if this is what you are looking for.
Where is the assessment taking place?
I offer in-person assessments in Windsor (Berkshire) and London.
What will I get from the assessment?
At the end of the assessment process you will receive a written report that will conclude your diagnosis. You will NOT get a prescription to receive ADHD medication.
What does an ADHD Assessment entail?
The assessment process can take up to 3 sessions. You need to bring an “observer” to the assessment which can be a parent, partner or friend.
Session 1 (2 hours)
Observer fills out Conners Screening
Client fills out Conners Screening
Clinical interview with client
Session 2 (2 hours)
Observer fills out Conners Short Assessment
Client fills out Conners Short Assessment
WAIS assessment test is conducted by the psychologist
Session 3 (1.5 hours)
Observer fills out Conners Long Assessment
Client fills out Conners Long Assessment
Scoring and diagnosis
How long does it take to get assessed?
The minimum time for the assessment process is 3 weeks since sessions need to be scheduled at least 1 week apart from each other. However, depending on your scores the assessment process might end after 1 or 2 sessions.
The process might take longer if you can't bring the observer to the sessions. In this case, I will need to mail out a form for the observer to fill out and then they will need to give the form back to you in a sealed envelope to bring to each session.
How much does it cost?
The cost depends on the location and how many sessions you will need. Please contact me for more information.
